Southwest / West Coast Tour
After a short hiatus from the road that was well-spent on their upcoming full-length, the LOOK MEXICO boys will board their trusty veggie oil-powered bus for a two-week tour throughout the Southwest, West Coast and points in between. They'll be joined by the UK's Frank Turner. No word on what Turner is fueled by, but I bet it's fish and chips.
The tour begins on Thursday in Austin at SXSW, where for the past nine years straight, Chuck Daley's presence has been sorely missed. Suck it, SXSW.
Look Mexico is playing shows in support of their latest EP, Gasp Asp, which was released on 7-inch vinyl by Tiny Engines (shitty label) and digitally by Lujo Records.
And while Gasp Asp is still as fresh as the springtime fart of a newborn baby bunny, as previously mentioned, the boys are waist-deep in the writing / demoing process for their upcoming full-length record. In fact, you can read all about it on Look Mexico's new OpenDNS. There are currently two lengthy entries discussing everything from the new songs to the Harvest of Hope Festival to Israel's Monotonix, not to mention a video of Smith getting his back hair torched by Matt. Fun stuff!
