Siouxsie And The Banshees – Nocturne
“Siouxsie and the Banshees, that’s the spirit, took the opportunity to treat the venue like a castle – their own opulent private space where they could speak with some authority about invented creatures, spiritual experiences, insane tenderness, psychological woes, whimsical impulses, solitary sexual dreaming, twilight realms, genes and keepsakes and the futile lurchings of the human heart – and got on with their business.” – Paul Morley (sleevenotes)
