Two month tour begins today (March 27 - May 22)
Brooklyn, N.Y. / Easton, P.A. duo, Slingshot Dakota, kicks off a two-month tour of the U.S. today.
Over the course of eight weeks, the band will cover both coasts and just about everything in between. In related news, Slingshot Dakota recently posted two brand new jams, "White Couch" and "Michael Jordan Saved My Life," on their Myspace page. Both songs are available on the band's latest tour sampler...available on tour, of course. The release also includes a third track - a cover of Fugazi's "Waiting Room." You can watch a sweet video of the Slingshot kids playing the cover live on the always entertaining If You Make It.

Throughout the record, fuzzy, nimble keys collide with expolosive drums, triggering heartfelt songs about friendship, community, living on the road and ultimately, following your dreams. Golden Ghost is a unique mix of sweet indie-pop melodies and DIY-inspired enthusiasm, and duo's music has never felt so honest and moving.
