This April and May,
The Easy Star All-Stars take their own magical mystery tour showcasing their new album, a unique ‘re-imagining’ of The Beatles’ classic
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. This continues Easy Star’s series that transforms timeless albums into reggae masterpieces, begun with Dub Side Of The Moon (2003) and Radiodread (2006). The first single from the new album, “With A Little Help From My Friends,” featuring Luciano, is available now on exclusively on iTunes, along with a dub b-side version featuring U Roy. The band’s shows on this tour will feature songs from all three albums along with some of their own original compositions.
The Easy Star All-Stars are a collective of some of the finest reggae musicians in New York. Combining musical versatility, instrumental prowess, beautiful vocal harmonies and a superb rhythm section, the
Easy Star All-Stars have established themselves as one of the top international reggae acts since their live debut in 2003. The collective ethic of the band means that each member is able to bring their own inventiveness, musical expertise and sense of fun to make each performance something special.
