Are the Atttic Lights over?

And more to the point, does anyone care? LOL

OK so I just received a pretty strange e-mail from a person that wishes to remain anonymous. Now don't take this news as salt, it is more a rumour however with the opportunity to break a news story before anyone else I couldn't help myself!

This is how the story goes:

I've found out that the 'lights are going out' for the up-and-coming Glasgow band Attic Lights. They have been dumped by their record label Island UK only a few months after signing for them. The band are about to go on a UK tour supporting the Scottish band Camera Obscura. They're not selling many CDs, apparently.

This is probably the end of the road for the band. I found out from the lead singer's girlfriend who is annoyed at him for some reason. A kiss and tell story. This is not known outside the band. I was told their publishers don't know yet. The band are trying to keep it secret in case it comes out and it sinks their UK tour.

So maybe it's the end of the road for Attic Lights. But as per my byline, who knows and more to the point who cares? All they will be remembered for is doing a cover of that song from the re-make of Minder which was shit hahahaha.
