TGOAT took time out of their hectic recording schedule in Sweden to chat about the process and show us round the studio. The band’s forthcoming second album ‘New Hopes, New Demonstrations’ was recorded in Stockholm’s Studio Grondahl in the winter of 2008, under the watchful gaze of Pelle Gunnerfeldt [The Hives, Refused] and will be released on 1st June 2009. The Brighton rockers have also been announced as support to Alexisonfire at one of their highly anticipated London Borderline performances on 11th June, following the album’s release.
Single ‘Bright Lights’ will be the first track to be released from NHND on 18th May in the midst of earlier live dates at Great Escape festival, Slam Dunk festival and support slots with Gallows. This track is the perfect introduction to a new opus for the band which sees them partnered with world-renowned independent label Epitaph Records.
