For a young independent label in this musical climate, it is extremely difficult to survive...much less make a name for yourself. Nevertheless, Michigan's Count Your Lucky Stars is flourishing and continues to become a rising star among record labels. This spring sees three amazing new releases from the growing indie.

-------------------------------------------------------
Headlining the spring releases schedule is Each And Everyone, the debut full-length from Kent, Ohio indie rockers, Annabel. Following up the success of their self-released EP, Now That We're Alive (available for free download here), Annabel seizes the momentum with a supremely confident effort that displays a band on the verge of greatness.
-------------------------------------------------------
Next up is Joie De Vivre from Rockford, Illinois. Summer Months is the band’s powerful debut. This is passionate, discordant emo with a straight face and a noticeable indie rock influence. Joie De Vivre takes a well-worn indie / emo sound and makes it sound spontaneous and meaningful all over again.
-------------------------------------------------------
Last, is Kalmazoo, Michigan's party math rockers The Reptilian. The band's first proper release, Boys' Life, finds the four piece consistently balancing its aggressive nature with a remarkable intricacy. Off kilter, yet incredibly melodic, The Reptilian hit you from just about every angle imaginable.

All three albums can be picked up directly from Count Your Lucky Stars right now. Also, stay tuned for news regarding the label's summer releases, including Castevet and Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate).
