ApSci, the multi-national electro-pop duo who are releasing their second full-length, Best Crisis Ever, on Quannum Projects on August 11, 2009 (note change from July 21), are currently featured in the Spring Edition of URB Magazine as one of the Next 100.
Says URB: "Together, they drive punk riffs into the realm of ethereal
electronic bliss, guided along by classic turntablism at its best…
ApSci battles frequent comparisons to Portishead, but they're
ten times sexier thanks to Tutaan's other-worldly voice which
drips of the dirty deed, and delivers the perfect counterpart to
Ra's biting rhymes and deadpan delivery."
ApSci will be in relocating from Sydney (where they recorded mostof the album) to the States this month, stopping through San Francisco from May 25-May 31, and then settling back in New York for the summer before embarking on a fall North American tour.
