Releases Debut Album, "Another Day Has Passed," Today on The End Records * Leak New Song to MetalSucks!
Brooklyn's GOES CUBE released their raging full-length debut album, 'Another Day Has Passed,' today via THE END RECORDS. Early response to the album has been very positive. "['Another Day Has Passed' contains] thirteen varied, hard rocking buzzsaw tunes, and nary a bad one in the bunch," said METALSUCKS.NET in a review, while DECIBEL has hailed the album as "every bit as diverse and textured as it is viscerally satisfying," and BLISTERING.COM proclaimed, "if there's any justice in the world this band are going to be on everyone's lips by the end of the year."

Last week, GOES CUBE premiered their video for "Goes Cube Song 30" via top online metal video portal MetalInjection.net. The video was directed by award-winning filmmaker Jacob Hensberry. It was filmed at the Brooklyn, NY venue Southpaw both before and during one of GOES CUBE's shows there. The video is a result of two visions-- one the band's, the other the director's-- which happened to coincide nicely. GOES CUBE was adamant that the video be shot on actual film. Jacob agreed and determined the best stock would be super 16mm, high contrast black and white film. Jacob's overall concept was to create raw performance shots intercut with disorienting and dreamlike scenes. Like the song was written and recorded, the video was filmed at a fast pace and energetic pace, culminating with some of the crew joining the band on stage during their set. You can catch the band performing their new material as they take their earth-shattering live show on the road this month. The tour kicks off in the band's home town of New York at the Studio at Webster Hall for the official 'Another Day Has Passed' release party on May 14th. This show is also the farewell show for their bass player/co-founder, Matt Frey, who will be stepping down from his duties and be replaced by Matt Tyson on May 15. For the tour, the band heads south and through the Midwest before heading back east again for a homecoming show at Brooklyn's Union Hall with the Detachment Kit on June 5.
