Introducing ... FLAMBOYANT BELLA

Introducing ... FLAMBOYANT BELLA
Let us introduce you to My Space teen sensations Flamboyant Bella. The four piece from Hitchin in Hertfordshire, aged between 17 and 19, are a proper 21st Century phenomenon with a staggering 1.5 million hits on their My Space to date - they recently topped the indie and electro unsigned charts on MySpace - a massive feat by the band. They write songs about teenage life, love and general naughtiness. Singer, guitarist and synth player James McBreen is a brilliant songwriter who has already penned a ton of accomplished pop tunes with witty, insightful lyrics, while front woman and guitarist Flo Kirton mesmerizes with her quirky, distinctive vocals. Further members of the foursome are talented musical brothers Mitch on bass and 'Doreen' on drums, providing the perfect rhythm section to any band.

Due for release late this summer, Flamboyant Bella will be releasing their debut album. Forthcoming single ‘Abbi’ tells the poignant tale of a lost friend, set to breezy guitars with a hand clappy catchy-as-fuck chorus, while ‘My Skies’ is a gorgeous breezy song that yearns for the heady days of summer. ‘Love Has Got Me Stoned’ is a modern day love story wrapped up in a gorgeous ballad and the stupidly infectious ‘Crazy Cool’ has summer anthem written all over it.

The band has already completed three sell out UK tours despite being unsigned and never having released an official single. There have been queues round the block and disappointed punters unable to get in from Newcastle to Liverpool. Inside is a sweat pit of raging hormones and manic energy where kids sing along to every word and generally go ballistic.

The latest feather in their cap is The Wonky Pop Tour, which they will be co-headlining with electro rapper Example. They will performing the length and breadth of the country in a tour that has become renowned for showcasing the best in intelligent and edgy pop music with Sam Sparro, Alphabeat, New Young Pony Club, Sneaky Sound System, Tommy Sparks, The Rumble Strips, Cocknbullkid, Mr Hudson, Frankmusik and Little Boots all gracing the tour.
