Iconic DJ and producer Adam Freeland is back, with a brand new name, and a brand new album - Freeland and COPE™.
Introducing COPE™, Adam says: "I wanted to make more than just another artist project. I always saw COPE™ as a band album, rather than just another DJ slapping together a bunch of random club grooves. I wanted to create songs I could play live, not just spin. And the songs on this album combine electronic grooves with shoegaze guitars, real drums and songwriting, so they are begging to be performed live!"
And indeed they are. The Freeland live band, Adam on synths and samples, Hayden Scott on drums and Kurt Baumann on vocals, bring the new album to life live on stage, and have been winning acclaim with intimate sets on both sides of the Atlantic. But the club shows are just the start - the Freeland live experience is going to come into its own when it hits the festivals this summer.
And surely the festival where the Freeland show is going to be most at home is Glade - simply the best electronic music festival on this fair isle.
