With Norway’s Hove Festival only a hop, step and jump away, the club line-up has been finalised and is truly unbeatable. Located on the picturesque island of Trømoya, just outside the southern city of Arendal, Norway, Hove Festival boasts one of the most stunning surroundings for a music festival.
However, Hove offers much more than these adventurous surroundings and exciting programming, the festival also presents a great opportunity to discover the best of the world’s club music scene. Following in the steps of club legends and Hove headliner, The Prodigy, Hove is now proud to announce the final club program for the festival:

Casiokids (NO) – Growing bigger and bigger by the minute, Norway’s own Casiokids have received excellent reviews for their electro beats and charming videos.

Crookers (IT) – A fearless and proficient Italian duo who are inspired from hip hop as much as house and the duo is fearless and proficient behind the decks.

Danger (FR) – As mysterious as he is infamous, French DJ, Danger is best known for his unique song titles and re-mixes of contemporary songs.

DiskJokke and Vinny Villbass (NO) – Two of Norway’s cleverest disco and techno DJs have played together several times over the past ten years and will be bringing together their skills once again, for Hove festival.

In Flagranti (US) – Hailing from Brooklyn, In Flagranti are transatlantic purveyors of cosmic disco, making neo punkfunk like only In Flagranti could.

M83 (FR) – French act M83 has, over the past seven years, built a name as one of the most unique song writers, is it shoegazer? Is it synth? Is it indie-electro? Ambient? Continually pushing the limits to comes up with a personal style that could only belongs to M83.

Metronomy (UK) – British trio, Metronomy are well known for combining experimental, melodic and catchy electro with synchronised dancing to create engaging and delightful live performances.

Rusko (UK) – At the forefront of UK dubstep, Rusko is more open to influence from electro, jungle, house and hip hop, creating dubstep which appeals to people far outside the strict dubstep scene.

Rye Rye (US) – Describes by some as M.I.A’s protégé, Rye Rye is making a name for herself with her amazing dance moves and catchy songs, which will be confirmed with the release of her debut album later this year.

Still Going (US)
– New York duo, Still Going, are signed to James Murphy’s label DFA and offer a dance floor experience to fill a multi-volume encyclopedia on DJ-ing and dance music. Still Going will be concluding the festival at Flekken.

Todd Terje (NO) – Norway’s very own Todd Terje, is repeatedly described as a leader in the world's re-edits, a song format where contemporary DJs take old disco songs and adapt them for a modern dance floor.

Yuksek (FR)
– A producer of inventive techno for many years, Yuksek made his solo-career breakthrough with the release his debut album earlier this year and his live shows are said to be fantastic.

In keeping with the unique nature of this festival, Hove is perhaps the only festival that can claim to host three clubs every festival night (on top of their music program), inviting the best Norwegian and International DJs to keep the party going all night. A hip-hop bar, a club held in an old bunker from World War II (Bunker 51) and a party in the woods (Flekken) all add to the Hove festival-experience.
Some names you can catch at these clubs include; 2depressed2getdressed, Bitch Boyz, Velferd, Untz Untz, Skurk and Hella Saucy.

Hove Festival prides itself as being the first carbon neutral festival in Scandinavia. Headliners include Faith No More, The Killers, Jadakiss, Franz Ferdinand, The Prodigy, Slipknot, Q- Tip +++
Hove 2009 will take place between the 22nd and 25th of June. For tickets and more info about the festival, check hovefestival.com
