FINk set to release new single in July Including THE CINEMATIC ORCHESTRA REMIX
Fink returns to tantalise your eardrums this Summer with lead single and title track from his brand new album, “Sort of Revolution”. As if the original wasn’t already an effortlessly classy, subtle and moving piece of work, Fink has enlisted label-mate Jason Swinscoe for a rare-as-hen’s-teeth Cinematic Orchestra remix. The single, available as a digital only bundle, also includes a genius spaced-out Dub remix from Sideshow, and yet another perfect piece of songwriting, delivery, and production from Fink in exclusive bonus track “Don’t Look Down”.

Fin Greenall, aka Fink, is among the more understated of the world's 'singer-songwriters', relying on uncompromising quality of work and an astounding stage presence, rather than major label marketing budgets. Swinscoe, likewise, is more keen on making music than chattering about it in the press. His career has, nevertheless, attracted superlatives from the outset, and includes collaborations with the likes of Fontella Bass and Roots Manuva, the re-soundtracking of Dziga Vertov’s classic “Man With A Movie Camera,” and a sell-out show at the Royal Albert Hall last year. Together they have crafted a miniature epic of love and longing… a velvet revolution indeed.

Aside from being a world-class performer, Greenall is a master lyricist and in-demand songwriter, having most recently co-written with John Legend for Legend's 'Evolver' LP. As an incredibly accomplished and versatile vocalist and guitarist he has performed as a special guest in front of thousands at London's Royal Albert Hall as part of BBC Proms, New York's legendary Carnegie Hall, and even Milan's 80,000 capacity San Siro Stadium. With his bandmates Guy Whittaker on bass and Tim Thornton on drums, Fink has played alongside Zero 7, Massive Attack, Camille, and the Fratellis, amongst countless other international artists. The stage is Fink's natural home - having performed well over 400 headline and festival shows over the last few years.

There are very few independent artists who have quietly accomplished such an amazing array of achievements, and judging by this latest cut, it doesn't seem that Fink - many a music fan's best kept secret - will be a secret for too much longer....
