First single taken from the album ‘No Baggage’ and is released as a two-track download only single on August 10th 2009
Dolores O’Riordan, songstress and critically acclaimed voice of The Cranberries, has teamed up with free music video site MUZU.TV (MUZU TV - Watch, Create and Share Music Video Playlists) to exclusively unveil her brand new video ‘The Journey.’ To celebrate the video launch, Dolores is giving away ten signed copies of her album ‘No Baggage’ which is scheduled for release on August 24th. Fans can watch the full video and enter the competition now by going to her official MUZU channel at Dolores O'Riordan Music Videos on MUZU TV
Co-produced by Ontario-based DanBrodbeck, ‘No Baggage’ sees O’Riordan exploring many emotive subjects. “I probably haven’t worn my heart on my sleeve like this since the second Cranberries album [1994’s No Need to Argue],” she says. “It’s at times very confessional and dealing with my true emotions. Everyone, through their experiences or their background, has had terrible moments where they think they can’t handle it. With this record I’m trying to show that, no matter how bad things may seem, it’s not really that bad in the big picture.”
Since leaving The Cranberries, who sold more than 40 million albums worldwide, O’Riordan has been splitting her time between Dublin and Ontario, Canada. Her interests in life extend far beyond her musical abilities; she is a devoted wife and mother to four beautiful children, and is also a gifted visual artist.
MUZU.TV allows music lovers to watch thousands of music videos for free and share them with their friends by embedding their personal MUZU video playlists on their social networking pages.
