If you aren’t familiar with Blitzen Trapper yet, it’s high time you became acquainted. This is, after all, the band that both Wilco and Fleet Foxes have chosen to take out on their late summer 2009 UK tours.

The Black River Killer EP is two things: a taster of Furr, the Portland, Oregon sextet’s latest critically acclaimed album, released last September. Plus a chance to pick up another six tracks spanning their nine-year career that so far have only been available as a CDR at live performances.
