After a short break, Mighty Rumble is back with an upcoming release for all friends and partners of the label.
Richard Seeberan, aka Rich NxT, makes his debut on MR with his distinctive style of deep warm sounds marrying contemporary grooves. Born and bred in good old London, Rich NxT holds his bi-monthly residency in East London's newly famed party - Fuse. The former D-Late @ Aquarium resident/promoter, who brought in the likes of Mobilee and Liebe Detail to London, shows why he's one of UK's finest in creating the afterhours magic in this release.
"Plandem" starts off on a modern electronic soundscape, introducing touches of bell sounds, builds up with the odd bleeps and clicks and grows with it's ultra groovy bass. The track expands with hooky stabs and an evocative approach to introducing new and existing sounds before rolling at full speed with its bassline. A definite modern programming to keep the dancefloor happy.
"Highman" is a cheeky number marrying robotic chant with the odd percussive rolls and stabs set on a heavier drum kick and snare, going into a slight moody feel before introducing a mid weight groovy bass. A deep and warm tune driving along slick effects and clever touches translating what Rich NxT's sound is all about!
“Plandem/Highman” will be released in the UK on 3rd August 2009.
