SHINEDOWN are set to release album ‘The Sound of Madness’ on July 13 through Atlantic Records. Produced by multiple Grammy Award-winner Rob Cavallo, it debuted at number 8 on the Billboard 200 when it was released in the US The album follows hot on the heels of the hit single ‘Second Chance’ in the UK.
The Jacksonville, Florida quintet exploded onto the US rock scene in 2003 with their RIAA platinum-certified breakthrough debut, ‘Leave a Whisper’. 2005 saw the release of sophomore album ‘Us and Them’, the RIAA gold-certified record that yielded the blockbusting single ‘Save Me’ – a track which dominated the airwaves, holding down the number one spot in the mainstream rock charts for a stunning twelve consecutive weeks. The success of ‘Save Me’ was followed by two further Top 5 hits – ‘Heroes’ and ‘I Dare You’.
