Sean Bones Releases "Dancehall" Video On Steregum / AOL Listening Party / CD Release

Party For Debut LP "RINGS" In Brooklyn At Glasslands On 7.22 / Announc

Recorded by Jon Spencer knob-minder, Jay Braun, RINGS runs the gamut from sturdy rocksteady grooves to sly Spector-esque pop; Afrobeat bounce to reggaeton, disco, and so much more. And of course, there’s the Norah Jones connection. Sullivan spent last summer in Jamaica shooting a film opposite the Grammy award winner. Wah Do Dem – patois for “What They Do” – is set to premiere this June at the LA Film Festival, and served as he launching pad for a musical relationship between Sullivan and Jones, who contributes to RINGS’ gorgeous album-closer “Turn Them.” Tour dates, tracklist and more info below.

"...What he's made is the perfect summer soundtrack. Some songs are playful pop while others have more of a rock edge, but always with a reggae beat so infectious that you can't help moving to the music." -LA2DAY

"...coaxing an imaginary island breeze" -Earfarm

"...we've been loving the infusion of white boys doing indie-reggae. The first two singles, "Easy Street" and "Sugar In My Spoon" were brilliant, and new track, "Dancehall" continues the rub-a-dub sound." -Future Sounds

"Sean Bones puts on the best live show to be seen in years." -IndieRockReviews.com (Band Of The Week)
