you are here is the debut album from thenewno2, composed of guitarist/synth player/vocalist Dhani Harrison, drummer/synth player Oli Hecks, Jon Sadoff on keyboards/guitar/vocals, Jeremy Faccone on guitar/vocals and Jason Hiller on bass. The band was one of the final guests on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where they dazzled audiences at home and in the studio. They made their initial mark after playing a triumphant run of dates at Los Angeles' Key Club. Word of mouth spread rapidly, and by the last show the club was beyond capacity. Accolades from LA City Beat and LA Weekly piqued the interest of national press; Rolling Stone featuring Dhani twice in their pages during the fall months including the magazine's Hot Issue. Dhani was featured in the last-ever issue of Blender.
The band's appearance at this year's Coachella festival was highly anticipated; Dhani and Oli graced the cover of the local Inland Empire Weekly in advance of the festival, and Spin.com remarked that it was one of the highlights of the weekend. thenewno2 will be making another anxiously awaited appearance, at this year's Lollapalooza festival.
In the coming weeks the band will be announcing more tour dates.
