Rap singer-songwriter Just Jack, has teamed up with the award-winning music video site MUZU.TV (www.muzu.tv) to exclusively bring you a fantastic acoustic take on his forthcoming single ‘The Day I Died’, recorded live on the London Eye. Jack has also generously given us five signed copies of his album ‘All Night Cinema’, due out on August 24th. The second single from the forthcoming album, “‘The Day I Died’ is a story about a man who is having the best day of his life,” says Jack. “Even though it turns out to be his last.” The track was
already one of the highlights of the new album but Jack recorded a sublime new version transforming it into an even harder-hitting song. Written and produced by Jack (co-produced by Jay Reynolds) this new version has been completely re-vocalled, flavoured with a pop swagger and a shimmering melody. It features multi-layered sounds, strings and a choir, which supplement Jack’s vocal perfectly capturing the sentiments of ‘The Day I Died’. ‘The Day I Died’ is already receiving airplay on Radio One.
‘All Night Cinema’ features straight-out, hard-hitting pop songs, wrapped around Jack’s razor-sharp lyrics and acute observations. Lyrically, he finds himself talking about everything from the sublime to the ordinary, eloquently depicting life in England in Jack’s very own inimitable way.
