The band performs alongside The Roots on Sunday August 2, 2009 -Toronto, ON –The Cutting Edge Music Festival (CEMF) is thrilled to announce it’s surprise co-headliner, two time Juno Award winning group, Bedouin Soundclash! The band joins Grammy Award winners, The Roots, who will both be performing at the festival on August 2, 2009. The weekend festival, which is taking over Bingeman’s Fun Park in Kitchener/Waterloo for the August long weekend, is quickly becoming the hot ticket for the summer.

“We are really excited to be joining the festival and playing alongside such a great lineup, especially a band we respect and admire as much as The Roots,” says Bedouin Soundclash lead singer Jay Malinowski. The festival already includes a list of over 50 performers, with a variety of impressive Canadian and international talent. Grammy Award winning band The Roots will take the stage for their exclusive Ontario show this summer, accompanied by artists including Stereo's, Andrew W.K., Lady Sovereign, Mixmaster Mike, Protest the Hero and more!
