Amanda Blank is back with ‘Make It Take It,’ the new single taken from the upcoming ‘I Love You’, her mesmerising debut album.
‘Make It Take It’ displays the sharp, crisp wit of this Philadelphia resident. Already lauded for previous appearances on Spank Rock’s brilliant debut ‘YoYoYoYoYo’ on album highlight ‘Bump’, it displays her unique talent, drawing on a propulsive beat before kicking into her quick, unique rhymes. It’s a two-and-a-half-minute Converse-wearing joyride of a track.
It’s a treat. Startling in its simplicity, it comes backed with a remix package including Eli Escobar and Buraka Som Sistema.
The album ‘I Love You’ is now scheduled for release on 14th September. A feast of electro, pop, hip-hop and punk, it’s a kaleidoscopic album that introduces Amanda and her musical world. From radically raw to sentimentally sweet, from music to art to fashion, it displays a glittering range of influences and is fun and absurd.
