Seattle trio The Cave Singers bring their second album Welcome Joy to the masses on August 17th 2009. Produced by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, Destroyer, Ladyhawk), the album is far richer and more interesting sounding than their debut (2007's Invitation Songs) and sees the band perform their dramatic, forlorn and occasionally triumphant music in a wonderfully autumnal haze.

Derek, Marty and Pete are due to tour the UK this autumn, further details to follow imminently.
