Collecting some of the harder elements of their sound it is a self-produced offering, with the band mixing two songs itself, while Cameron Craig (Unkle, Strummer & The Mescaleros), who is set to produce their first single, mixed two others. Originally recorded all in one day and never intended for release, the EP has found itself aired on the Zane Lowe Show (Radio One), Huw Stephens (Radio One), John Kennedy’s Xposure (XFM), and several international shows including the British Council’s The Selector.

Since a first headline show where they played to a packed Scala, Arrows of Love have taken their live performances to almost incendiary levels, balancing a tightness of sound with an energy that has hooked audiences and even recently caused a band to refuse to follow them onto stage. Coupling these stage shows with a repertoire only touched upon by this EP, they have drawn comparisons to the world-changing American bands of the early 90’s whilst retaining their own unique and distinctly English voice and sound, incorporating cello and synth into a heavily overdriven guitar-based assault.

The line up consists of a revolving array of musicians that include current or past members of bands such as Hush the Many (Heed the Few), Jamie T, Loverman, Courtney Love, Eraserheads, Circulus, and previously Kid Harpoon.

The weeks ahead see Arrows of Love play with British Sea Power and Strange Death Of Liberal England, while the band also plans to give away 100 cd copies of Burn This Town at Rough Trade’s shops on the day of its release. Also in the offing is a remix of the EP's lead track Burn This Town by rising dj/presenter Goldierocks, joining a star-studded list of official remixes that includes Foals, The Kooks, & Natty.

Currently the band are recording their first single, a double A-side which includes crowd favourite The Illusionist.
