A Mountain Of One will be making a rare live appearance in the UK on 5th September when they play the Rough Trade East off London’s Brick Lane.
The show will preview the band’s brilliant new record, ‘Institute Of Joy’. Released on 7th September on Ten Worlds, it’s an epic, heady brew of a record, taking in influences such as Arthur Russell, Fleetwood Mac, Tangerine Dream and John Martyn. Rolling rhythms and pastoral folk rub shoulders with bluesy workouts and cosmic guitar lines. It’s a deeply soulful record, full of surprises and with a depth that few can match.
The video to ‘Bones’, the first single to be taken from the album is online now
