GRAY YOUNG announce tour and perform live on NPR
Raleigh, North Carolina's Gray Young have a busy August ahead with a string of shows in the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as a live taping and interview on NPR's The State Of Things. The band is supporting their self-released debut full-length, Firmament.

Listen to "Tilling The Wind" (mp3)

Expansive in their approach but retaining brilliant brevity, Gray Young confidently defy classification. Equally gripping and immediate, Firmament runs the gamut of atmospheric rock. From ambient instrumentals to melody-fueled anthems, the NC trio show off a vast range and breathtaking attention to detail. Whether you label it indie rock, emo or post rock, Gray Young seem perfectly fine floating somewhere in between.
