SHOWS SOLD OUT IN NEW YORK, CHICAGO AND D.C.
On the heels of a wildly successful, sold-out run of east coast shows, LA psych-folk collective Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros announce additional dates, starting at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY on August 30th. The band can be found gracing the pages of Rolling Stone's most recent issue, where they are included among the magazine's "Artists to Watch."
The band has been winning over audiences with the infectious energy of its live show, which is equal parts hippie love-fest and musical traveling circus. They've ridden their hometown buzz all the way from Los Angeles, where they most recently packed the Hammer Museum and drew a massive line of adoring fans which circled the building, up and down the east coast and beyond, selling out shows in New York City, Washington, DC and Chicago. Proving that they are more than just an LA phenomenon, ESMZ recently received rave remarks from the Minneapolis Star Tribune, which rhapsodized about the band's "ambitious and symphonic psychedelic folk-rock sound" and called the nearly-sold-out show at 7th Street Entry "highly recommended."
