Brand New will release their new album, Daisy, on 21 September on the band's own Procrastinate Music Traitors imprint, in partnership with DGC/Interscope. The album is heralded by the release of lead track At The Bottom as a digital download today, Tuesday 11 August; a 7-inch and full digital bundle follows on 14 September.
The project started and finished in the basement studio of longtime friend (and sometime unofficial fifth band member) Mike Sapone, where the band slept, ate, and eventually eked out the tracks that would become Daisy. It was mixed by Dave Sardy (RATM, Oasis, Cold War Kids, Slayer).

Before the album arrives, Brand New will return to the UK to play the Main Stage at the Leeds and Reading festivals on 29 and 30 August. The shows follow a run of sold out dates in June, ending with an appearance at Glastonbury Festival. Brand New will embark on a North American headline tour in the fall of 2009.
Formed on Long Island, New York, in 2000, Brand New earned a huge cult following with their first two albums Your Favorite Weapon (2001) and Deja Entendu (2003). They released their third studio album (and first for a major label) The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me in November 2006 to ecstatic reviews.
