Words got out is the first in a series of singles from Tin Soldiers newly recorded album, which is to be released in January 2009. The album has been crafted by the band in conjunction with Producer Greg Brimson, who having worked with bands like Feeder and Muse, have brought the polish that is so deserving to Tin Soldier’s sound.
Their 2008 single releases, 24 Hours and Wait for You, have gained the band attention from media and fan’s alike with Kerrang labelling them ‘More infectious than the Ebola Virus!’ Bothof these songs have been re-mixed for the album and feature alongside new material including Words Got Out.
Words Got Out is a fitting song to re-announce their presence. It nod’s to The Foo Fighters, one of Tin Soldiers biggest influences, but still retains their own distinctly powerful and driven energy. Tin Soldier’s sound is not a carbon copy of any other, but there is enough familiarity within their songs to appeal to the masses.
The video to Words Got Out has blood, gore, and humour. It’s a tongue-in-cheek, Slasher theme and as it’s filmed in HD the quality is fantastic!
