17 DAYS UNTIL FESTIBELLY 2009 - JAMES YUILL, FOLK OFF, VICE MAGAZINE AND MORE...
With just over a fortnight to go, Festibelly headliners are getting ready for their performances. 2009 sees Festibelly welcome back 'folktronica' wizard James Yuill as headliner, alongside Rough Trade signings Micachu & The Shapes, grime pop upstarts Man Like Me, critically acclaimed ensemble Laurel Collective and future-romantic pop group ColouringIN. They are joined by London's favourite reggae party, Reggae Roast who will be 'dubbing' it alongside live performances by Brother Culture and the heavyweight 9-piece brass band, Brass Roots.

After the selling out in 2008 Festibelly have developed their boutique festival for another wonderful weekend this summer. Set in the peaceful surroundings of the New Forest, Festibelly provides a chilled day, party night time, camping in an intimate 1,000 person environment. Alongside the great musical line up Secret Wars urban artists will be battling it out in the form of a tag-team competition on a giant wall.

In anticipation for this year Festibelly headliner James Yuill said,

"Festibelly is always a favourite festival for me - alliteration aside. It's the perfect size to still feel like a friends party."

Festibelly's Folk Off contest is in full swing now - finalists are announced next week and the deadline for all entrants is 3pm this Sunday 16th August. The winner will receive £300 worth of music equipment vouchers courtesy of Festibelly buddies SUSO drinks and is guaranteed a slot for Festibelly 2010! More information about Folk Off here.

Vice are also getting in on the action now - check out the exclusive Festibelly Summer Mixshake 2009 DJ mix here.

Festibelly supports neighbouring traders and provides delicious and sophisticated food from local sources, catering for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The Festibar will also be stocked with a plentiful supply of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Festibelly welcomes people of all ages to it's safe and friendly atmosphere, providing clean toilets (regarded as some of the best ever seen at a festival) with washbasins, mirrors and lighting.
