Anti-Pop Consortium HQ are growing louder and closer
The mighty, thunderous rumblings from the Anti-Pop Consortium HQ are growing louder and closer. Forthcoming single 'Volcano' has just been completed, and the band's effortless statement of future-funk superiority has been added to by a rare, luscious Four Tet remix. The single is set for release in October, shortly after this pioneering group's masterpiece 'Fluorescent Black.' The album moves through moods, concepts, beats and rhymes with the mind-bending ease which has always characterized their output. It's a record which reveals new facets on every listen, a rich and deepening listening experience unlike any other record around right now - hip hop or otherwise.

Beans, M. Sayyid, Earl Blaize and High Priest will be touring their unparalleled live show this Autumn. Where most hip-hop artists have struggled to recreate the genre's tough edged, machine-tooled assault live, for APC it's a strongpoint. MPC sampler, drum machines, keyboards, effects pads, laptops and decks combine to truly replicate what makes this crew so great. Their instrumentals alone stand up to the very best that electronica has to offer. Combine that with world-class MCs who've truly mastered their art, and you have a live show that stands up to the greatest.
