Coming over from Australia for a European Tour, Cookin On 3 Burners are a tight classy funk outfit featuring Lance Ferguson from The Bamboos alongside soul singer Kylie Auldist. Cookin On 3 Burners have released two quality albums on London’s Freestyle Records (run by Adrian Gibson (Jazz Café/Beachdown)).
Kylie Auldist is one of Tru Thoughts’ key acts and her second album, Made Of Stone, is sizzling collection of original, grown-up pop with warm, retro-inspired funk and mod soul flavours complementing the razor sharp musicianship, crystal clear production and Kylie’s incisive lyrical voice. Made Of Stone has already gained interest from Ashley Beedle (who did a re-edit of a track within days of hearing it), Mark Lamaar, Craig Charles and Laurent Garnier.
Lance also steps up for a Bamboos DJ Set and is joined by another Tru Thoughter Flevans on some of the dates to complete a superb line-up.
