From their highly-anticipated debut album ‘Broken Side Of Time’ (out September 21st), Alberta Cross are set to release ‘ATX’ as a single on September 14th. Surging with energy, pain and paranoia, singer Petter Ericson Stakee and the band reach from deep within on what is one of the album’s most explosive tracks.
“The song came out of a late night drunken jam,” explains Petter. “The lyrics are about David Bowie’s ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth’. It’s about being an alien, being out of place.”
The video for the single is culled from live footage of the band’s recent performances at the Coachella and Bonnaroo festivals, plus last month’s two appearances at Brixton Academy.
