Lipona - Pigeonholed Now Available In CD Format
 

Lipona (Tallahassee, FL) has made its latest EP, the digital-only Pigeonholed, a lot less digital-only by pressing a CD version of the five song release. The band will have copies of the record at shows and will also sell the EP online beginning September 1st. Pigeonholed was originally offered up by the fiery punk rock quartet as a free digital download earlier this year. It is the follow-up to Lipona's self-released and highly acclaimed 2008 debut full-length, Atlas, and is still available for free here. However, the "free" part of the digital EP will expire in one month, at which point it will be available from iTunes.

"This album has marked a new direction and we think this might be some of the best work we've ever done," stated front man Yamil Velez. "It's faster, more technical and has a more refined sound. Whereas Atlas was an introspective album, Pigeonholed is the opposite - the subject matter revolves around the current political climate and how we've all been dealing with the instability going on in the world."
