The Motorleague have announced a handful of fall tour dates, including a stop at Quebec City’s Envol Et Macadam where they’ll play alongside Pinky Piglets, Alexisonfire, and Bad Religion.
“Playing a show with Bad Religion is both amazing and scary as shit” says The Motorleague’s Don Levandier. “I’ve been a fan since I was 15 and Recipe For Hate was brand new so getting to play a show with a band like that is absolutely a dream come true – plus we’re all pretty big Alexisonfire fans so the whole night is going to stupid fun.”
The Motorleague will be hitting a few of their favorite cities with a brand new Fredericton based rock group under the moniker of Cobra Jets. The Jets are the brainchild of Billy Strange who gained notoriety as the long time booking agent at Fredericton’s Bugaboo Creek. “We don’t care if we play to 10 or 10,000 people – we just can’t wait to get our band on the road” says Cobra Jets guitar player Billy Strange. The Cobra Jets are made up of members of Age Of Daze, The Troublestarters and The Rocking Argentos and will be playing their debut show in their hometown on Sept 2nd at Nicky Zee’s.
The Motorleague have also announced that Jonah Hache will be taking on bass playing duties. “Jonah recorded Black Noise with us and he’s eager to get on the road and work hard - he’s an amazing find.” says The Motorleague’s Don Levandier.

Formed in mid 2006 from the remains of some of Moncton's mainstay bands (The Ditchpigs, Cohesive, The Monoxides and IC/TC) The Motorleague have been running hot since inception. The 'League marries narcotic guitar lines with songs that could only be derived from years of betrayal, rejection and failure - and the result is some of the most honest - thought provoking rock / borderline punk rock around.
