Cancer Bats have promised to come and destroy the main stage at Hellfire on Friday 6th November!
Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band, Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal, and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion.
The bands latest release ‘Hail Destroyer’ sees the Cancer Bats taking their musicianship to a whole new level. Lead singer Liam Cormier’s heated vocals and heavily personal lyrics keep the energy high throughout the album, while axe-wielding Scott Middleton’s electrifying solos and shredding riffs make you want to rock out like never before. Throw in Mike Peter’s rhythmic ferocity and you have an album that will leave you salivating for more.
Joining the Bats on the Friday’s main stage,
Electric Eel Shock. This band are a glorious celebration of Classic Rock, Punk and Metal. A true power trio from the time before rock became fractured into a diverse multitude of sub-genres and we were all still one big happy Rock & Roll family. Electric Eel Shock are a band who’ve worked hard to get where they are - and they’re damn well going to enjoy themselves at Hellfire Festival. Fans old and new are invited to join the party!
Katatonia are the third band confirmed for the main stage at Hellfire on Sunday 8th November and will be joining headliners Fields of the Nephilim and My Dying Bride to create a tri-party alliance of spectacular atmospheric darkness! The Sunday mainstage is certainly the place to be if you want to get lost in a swirling musical journey through the legendary bleak yet utterly compelling soundscapes which have become the trademark of these three awesome bands seen sharing a stage for the first time.

Hellfire’s Rob Ferguson said –
“ Its great to see all of the stages starting to take shape now and I’m really pleased that we are able to achieve our objective of offering something for everyone in the mix of bands. I am particularly excited to see a strong representation from the wealth of talent in the British underground and breaking scene which I personally work very hard to champion”
