Kitsuné roll into London once more with the kind of party only they can pull off. With three of the hottest, most adventurous and exciting acts around playing live, backed up by a stellar DJ line-up that cuts through the best musical genres.
Delphic are set to be one of the bands of 2010. With the brilliant ‘Counterpoint’ and ‘This Momentary’ already under their belts, this Manchester band are taking the futuristic pop blueprint of New Order and creating some of the most exciting sounds around. Live they play one continuous piece of music, grafting the songs together to create something unique.
Yuksek headlines, emerging in this post-Soulwax world, he is one of the most innovative electronic music artists in Europe and he recently released his album "Away From The Sea". Signed to Fiction here in the UK, he has also made a name for himself with some stunning remixes. Everyone from Ghostface Killah to M83, Phoenix to the Kaiser Chiefs have been re-worked by this forward-thinking Frenchman. Post-punk riffs collide with pop hooks, whilst disco grooves and house beats take turns to come to the fore. He will perform a rare LIVE show featuring guest appearances - don't miss him!
Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club have already had the UK’s tastemakers in a lather about their debut single ‘Something Good Can Work’. Radio 1, XFM and NME have all been entranced by their live shows. Now it’s your turn.
Two of Kitsuné’s leading lights, Gildas and Masaya will be manning the decks, along with the brilliant Riton. Riton’s constantly evolving sound is born from his incredible ear for new and exciting styles of music, much like Kitsune in fact. Again, here is a set you won’t want to miss. And Le Corps Mince de Francoise, three girls with the world of electronic music at their feet, round off this top drawer line up.
The nights come at the end of the Kitsuné Maison tour featuring Delphic and Two Door Cinema Club and continues to highlight how ahead of the curve Kitsuné is. Leading from the front, their ear for talent and all consuming passion for new exciting sounds is second to none. They continue to champion new bands and artists way before anyone else, and with their compilations they put their money where their mouth is. The new chapter of their compilation series, Kitsuné Maison 8, will be out on November 9th. Live –
