DEAF HAVANA – 'MEET ME HALFWAY, AT LEAST' THE DEBUT ALBUM Deaf Havana’s ironically titled & critically acclaimed EP ‘It’s Called The Easy Life’ (October 2008) was ‘one of the most gripping UK debuts in years’ (Metal Hammer – 8/10) bursting with ‘swaggering southern rock tendencies’ (Kerrang! – KKKK) it was a ‘romp through some of the best British alternative noise Rock Sound has heard in a while’ (Rock sound – 8/10) that literally rocked the UK underground scene to its core. One year later & the Norfolk quintet are on the cusp of releasing their most exciting material to date on their debut full length ‘Meet Me Halfway, At Least’. Expanding on the band’s melodic capabilities hinted at on their EP, the bands new record is brimming with raw, emotional & hook laden songs that make for one hell of an album. Recorded with producer Matty O’Grady (Architects, You Me At Six) the album will be released on the 07th September 2009, supported by a 16 date UK headline tour with special guests Young Guns & The Casino Brawl. 21 - GLASGOW Capitol 22 - NEWCASTLE End Bar 23 - STOKE ON TRENT Sugarmill 24 - PETERBOROUGH The Park 25 - DERBY Vic Inn 26 - COLCHESTER The Twist 27 - NORWICH The Marquee 28 - LIVERPOOL The Pickett 29 - HIGH WYCOMBE Nags Head (Blues Loft) For fans of: Lostprophets, Alexisonfire, & Taking Back Sunday. |
