On October 6 Rough Trade Records will release
Alela And Alina – a 10” EP featuring Alela Diane and Alina Hardin. This EP is a companion piece to Alela Diane’s latest album
To Be Still which was released in February of this year. There are 6 tracks on Alela And Alina including 3 brand new songs. Alela and Alina will be sold in stores as well as on the road and online exclusively via iTunes.
Alela Diane has also just confirmed a US tour for this fall. Since the release of
To Be Still she has since tour incessantly throughout the US and Europe including a sold-out show at the Olympia in Paris. On her last US tour she had her band in tow but on this run of dates she is paring it down and will simply be joined by guitarist and singer Tom Bevitori. The tour is a co-headline with Marissa Nadler and dates are listed below.
And while we can’t watch it on TV we can catch Alela’s performance on Later With Jools Holland via the internet! She made an appearance on the show next Tuesday September 15th.
