We got Italy’s favourite space rockers, Crimea X, in town for a rare one off show on Friday, October 30 at Cargo, London for Adventures In The Beetroot Field. The night’s stellar line up includes The One, Knifeworld, Von Haze, Richard Fearless, Crispin Dior plus many more.
London party people collective, Adventures In The Beetroot Field, are arguably the Serie A of party promoters with a whole league of kick ass events and gatherings under their belt. Having pioneered the ‘mixed bag’ approach to parties, AITBF have always stuck to the old adage of going with the flow, often mixing up various DJs with genre bashing bands and acts. This has included, Boys Noize, Bloc Party, The Field, Peaches, Jamie T, Circulus, Luke Vibert, No Age and Padded Cell.
AITBF also have a regular residency at Fabric, the annual Field Day at Victoria Park, Stag & Dagger, late night tents at Glastonbury & Bestival + many more.
These dudes know how to rock it. You don’t want to miss this. Stick it in the diary.
Crimea X’s latest EP, ‘Chorne More’, also known as ‘Black Sea’ to us non Slavic inclined folks, are 3 tracks of finely crafted electro pop bliss that pays homage to a bunch of their Slavic mates with songs named after folks they know like 'Jurij', 'Vavara' & 'Liubov' out on Italy's finest, Hell Yeah Recordings later this year.
