Dreadzone announce MASSIVE tour and FREE single download!

Dreadzone are once again set to roll like thunder with a huge UK tour starting this October taking them through until Christmas and following the release of the explosive single ‘Beyond A Rock’ in July, the band will be giving away the next single ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’ as a FREE DOWNLOAD from 08 October from ~ Dreadzone Downloads ~. Taken from the much anticipated new studio album, due for release in the New Year, ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’ is another brilliant example of the band’s originality and musicianship.

Greg Dread says “the countdown starts here for the next phase of dread, massive new tunes in our best setting – live and direct….with a special taster of the forthcoming album which is already feeling like our best yet. This is a big thank you to all those already in the zone and to those who bounced with the Dreadz in 2009, watch out for this album as it is ready to make people sit up and take notice again”

This summer’s festival season has been a busy one for Dreadzone setting the stage alight everywhere they’ve been from Glastonbury to Oxegen, Cropredy to Beautiful Days as well as festival shows in Croatia, Belgium, Poland, Austria and Greece. (Dreadzone’s audience at Beautiful Days was 9,000+ and Cropredy it was 19,000!).

From the ashes of Big Audio Dynamite and Screaming Target, founder member Greg Dread, original bassmaster Leo Williams, the unmistakable MC Spee, legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16 alongside new members Chris Compton on guitar and Chris Oldfield on technology make up the current team of dreadz. A full live schedule gives them chance to try the new tracks out on eager crowds. Their dynamic live show has been central to the story since the early days and will continue to blow away audiences worldwide.

Dreadzone have had a 6 album career which has spanned the credibility of a Creation Records release, major moves on Virgin and independent support on Functional and Rufflife. Cited by John Peel as having recorded one of his 10 favorite albums of all time, the top 20 hit from that album ‘Little Britain’ has since acquired classic status.
