Due to circumstances beyond The Frontier Touring Company’s control, the venue for James Hunter’s upcoming Melbourne shows has changed.
The original venue, Manchester Lane has been sold. The new owners are regretfully unable to accommodate the two James Hunter shows originally scheduled for Wednesday October 28th and Thursday October 29th.
We know that Melbourne James Hunter fans have been waiting a long time for this dynamic performer to play here. The Frontier Touring Company is happy to confirm that James Hunter will now perform for one night only at Melbourne’s latest premier live music venue; The Thornbury Theatre, 859 High Street, Thornbury.
All patrons who have purchased tickets for either Manchester Lane show will be able to use their tickets at The Thornbury Theatre on Thursday October 29th.
Dinner will also be available at the the Thornbury Theatre. All patrons that have booked dinner through Manchester Lane will be contacted in due course to confirm their intention to dine at The Thornbury Theatre. Doors for dinner guests will open at 7.00pm
Any patrons who purchased tickets for the Wednesday October 28th performance who are unable to attend the rescheduled performance on Thursday October 29th can return their tickets to point of purchase for a refund. For tickets purchased via the Ticketek Call Centre or Website, please post your ticket(s) to: Ticketek. GPO Box 2940 Melbourne VIC 3001. All tickets must be received by Ticketek no later than Monday 19 October 2009.
James will tour Australia in support of his critically acclaimed fifth record The Hard Way (out now through Universal). A slice of jazz-soul artistry, The Hard Way is one of 2009’s defining records, seeing James draw on the past, blending the old with the new, creating a signature sound music lovers have grown to love.
