SAVAGELEGENDS 3, Saturday 24th October @ The Den and Centro

SAVAGELEGENDS 3, Saturday 24th October @ The Den and Centro
Savagelegends 3 - the naughty bass fuelled club terrors - are back with their third party where they’ll be getting into all kinds of mischief on Saturday, 24th October at the superb Den and Centro. The split levelnightclub used to be the former home of The End but has now been taken over and totally revamped.

The night will feature the likes of Mark Moore (S’Express), Disco of Doom (new project from Tom Real and Rogue Element), Loose Cannons (Kiss 100), Nuke Them All’s Buster Bennett, Kool Kids Klub Southend Rave Crew and hosts Backstage Sluts vs Ronnie Joice - amongst others - all DJing on a superb soundsystem. Expect crazy installations, twisted visuals, VJs and day glo performance artists. The last two parties were road blocked so get dressed up and don’t forget; the clocks go back so we get an extra hour to get lost in the bassbins!

There will also be a very special after party in a hidden room - look out for the girls with the ‘hidden tickets’ to gain your free entry.

Mark Mooreshot to fame as the driving force behind the dance/sampling pioneers S'Express with #1 hit 'The Theme from S-Express'. Complete with his trademark - a customised red telephone/headphone - he is without question one of the godfathers of new dance music and club culture.

Disco of Doom are breakbeat DJs Tom Real vs Rogue Element. Rising up from the underworld of their monthly show on Samurai FM, with an appetite for destruction, DOD sees the duo deliver sick electronic bangers to dance floors around the globe. Their first EP has sent them across Europe where they’ve been playing alongside headliners in Amsterdam and Helsinki, in addition to this summer’s Glastonbury and Glade festivals where they smashed it at Arcadia.

Buster Bennett from Nuke Them All is one of London's most infamous promoters and DJ's. As one half of terrorist-art group Yr Mum Ya Dad’ Buster ran the seminal Nu Rave/Mash-up/Myspace night Anti-Social and now co-runs Nuke Them All - a regular night at Images strip club in Hackney / Bethnal Green which is regularly packed out with the next generation of creative creatures from the art, fashion and music world.

The Loose Cannons host a show on Kiss 100 and, let’s face it, a festival would not be complete without them either Djing or performing live. Their live set is funked up electro sex, whilst their DJ set is a mad frenzy of energy that covers all genres and totally rocks the crowd.

Backstage Sluts are Dj’s and the bad boys of breaks. Production credentials include Killers vs. Prodigy remix ‘Smack My Killers’. They are currently working with Lady Marga from Basement Jaxx on their debut album and recently remixed the The Kills Cheap And Cheerful’. Look out for their unofficial remix of the Beatles classic ‘Lucy in The Sky’ which got hammered on Radio 1 and Kiss 100.

The Kool Kids Klub takes place on the third Saturday of every month at the newly refurbished Sunrooms in Southend-on-sea. Set against the backdrop of boy racers, shit clubs and an overriding lack of taste, the Kool Kids Klub keeps its finger on the pulse and delivers the latest in underground trends to those looking for something cool in Essex. Expect basslines, B-more, Baile funk, electro/fidget house, and lots of other electronic noises from DJs Sonic Wale, That Boy Kana, Scum Kid and Alexander.

The Gameboys (Lux) are synonymous with Luxembourg’s underground clubs and electronic music scene, the Gameboys know their ticklers form their bangers and have hosted parties featuring names such as drum and bass legend Ed Rush. Expect anything to happen in between warbling drum and bass, to spine twisting minimal techno.

Local hero Ray Stanley knows how to please crowds, the local boy steps up to the decks to support the Savage Legends party like only he knows how.

Finally, Savage Legends is a collaboration project featuring some of the freshest, newest talents in urban living. Combining music, fashion, art, erotica and wrongness from around the globe they are in your face and crude, shocking and stylish... Savagelegends’ last excursion at Sin in November sold out within weeks of going to press and had 800 people going nuts, crazy installations, live bands and twisted dance music supplied by Mark Moore, Justin Robertson, Terry Farley and the Loose Cannons.
