OUNSWORTH TO DEBUT SONGS LIVE AT NEW YORK'S CMJ FESTIVAL THIS WEEK

Alec Ounsworth, charismatic frontman for celebrated rockers Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, releases his much anticipated solo album, Mo Beauty, today on Anti-Records. Recorded deep in the heart of musical New Orleans with an ensemble of local heavyweights including George Porter Jr. of the Meters and drummer Stanton Moore of Galactic, and guided by veteran producer Steve Berlin (Los Lobos, Replacements), Mo Beauty is a stunning union of powerful rhythms and imaginative arrangements in the service of evocative literary songwriting.

Ounsworth will be debuting songs from Mo Beauty live as part of New York's annual CMJ Festival with a performance at the Mercury Lounge on October 22nd.
