Hot on the heels of this year’s maxi single, Erol Alkan and Boys Noize proudly present the stunning Chilly Gonzales <Gonzales on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads> piano rework of ‘Waves’.

The legendary entertainist has been a long time friend of Alkan’s (he was also the only performer to play his London nightclub ‘Trash’ three times during it’s decade long existence) and has currently been putting the finishing touches on his Boys Noize produced next album, set for release next year.

Released November 23rd on an extremely limited edition 10Åç of 500, the piano rework comes backed with a spoken word episode from Chilly explaining how one would translate a club ÅebangerÅf into something your grandfather could get with!

Erol Alkan returns for the next instalment of his 6 Mix residency.

One of the most popular DJs in the UK, Erol has also made his name as in-demand producer and remixer, with his rework of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs Zero becoming one of the biggest club records of 2009.

In his latest show, Erol - who spent the end of 2009 on tour with 2ManyDJs and has recently been working on new material with Late Of The Pier and Mystery Jets - will be playing a selection of hot new tunes picked up on his worldwide DJ travels, from indie to dance, via electro and nu balerica. In the last half hour, Erol will be manning the decks for the latest in his series of ‘secret mixes’ – leaving listeners to guess who’s playing.
