Wolf Gang News: Single, 'The King & All of His Men' out on November 16th plus Live Dates Announced

Fresh from the release of the eccentrically brilliant ‘Pieces of You’ Wolf Gang re-emerges with the equally fantastic single ‘The King & All of His Men’ on November 16th. The first release through brand new label Hit Club, the track comes backed with Hot Chip and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs remixes. It will be available on limited 7” and digitally. MP3 BLOG PROMO: NEON CIRCUS 'DIGITIZM'

Neon Circus are two writer/producers from Leicester who create their own brand of alternative–indie/electronica influenced by the likes of Ian Brown, Who Made Who, The Rapture, LCD Sound System, DJ Shadow and Aim. Digit-izm has recently been signed to play on Slips on MTV.
They've now completed their album, created their own artwork, set up a record label Jacket Pocket Records, and are now booking live dates for performances. They have their own unique promotional material on the way to - expect to see animated music videos, graphic CD covers and posters.
Digit-izm has a distinct rocky twist compared to the previous leftfield electronica they had been writing - electronica clearly still influences the tune but is upstaged by the up front vocal line.

A stunning animated video for The Decemberists, ‘The Rake's Song’ has been made by St.Martin’s College Of Art students. It was created and directed in Moscow, by Alex Dashino and Varvara Volodina. Alex and Varvara are second year students studying Moving Image at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, London. The video has just been premiered in the AV section of The Decemberist’s website.

Those lovely brooklyn ladies, Vivian Girls – Kickball Katy, Cassie Ramone and Ali Koehler - kick off the New Year withUK dates in January.
Released September 2009, the trio’s second album Everything Goes Wrong (In The Red) sees the band capture their raw, fun edge and, is without a doubt a darker, moodier album than its predecessor; a trait which arguably makes the band an even more appealing proposition this time round.

On the eve of their latest release, Cosmic Egg, Wolfmother have launched a new site. Wolfmother.com features an online store where you can pick up all the latest Wolfmother swag, a video section, photos, tour dates, and all the latest news regarding the band.
The band have also just released a video for the song "New Moon Rising" which can be seen here.

White Belt Yellow Tag tour video + Broken Records support announced

Brooding with a Krautrock klang , the fantastic ‘Remains EP’will be released on Monday November 2nd through Distiller Records. To promote the single, which was added to the XFM evening playlist this week, the band have been touring the country and put together this little video to show you exactly what life in White Belt Yellow Tag is like.
White Belt Yellow Tag have also been confirmed as main support for Broken Records’ show at London’s Bush Hall on November 5th.

Craig Pilbin’s song-writing nouse and Lockey’s “sonic alchemy” have combined to create something unique where epic wide-screen atmospherics work in harmony with moments of white-noise and fragile beauty.

White Belt Yellow Tag tour video + Broken Records support announced

Yeasayer have confirmed that they will be releasing the first new material from their highly anticipated second album, Odd Blood.
Having already previewed Ambling Alp on their recent UK dates with Bat For Lashes, this is their first new recording since “Tightrope” appeared on the Dark Was The Night benefit comp earlier this year. The track will be available for free download via the band’s website YEASAYER | "AMBLING ALP" SINGLE from 30th October 2009.
Recorded & produced by the band - along with engineer Steve Revitte and mixer Britt Myers – “Ambling Alp” shows the band’s advancement in both songwriting and studio sonics, and is nothing short of a pop anthem!
The single will be released digitally and on limited edition vinyl in rather special packaging in January 2010.
Yeasayer will be playing “Ambling Alp” amongst other brand new tracks from ODD BLOOD on their upcoming appearances at Fun Fun Fun Fest as well as a small handful of US dates before going underground until the album’s release in 2010.

Debut single 'Youth Blood' released December 1st

Jinder (aka Josefine Jinder) is a 20-year-old Stockholm sweetheart who mentions her discovery of synthesizers around the same time of her discovery of boys. Jinder used to live in the UK and received a diploma in sound technology at Paul McCartneys Music University "LIPA" (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts). Jinder recalls her influences come from New Order and Kate Bush, but her unique blend of alluring vocals and subtle synths put her in a category of her own.
After the successful release of the "Polyhedron" debut EP (and remixed edition) on US label Trouble & Bass last year, Jinder began touring extensively in Scandinavia and Europe. Jinder is currently working on her first full length album to be, set for early 2010 release.
Jinder is set to play Fabric (London) on Friday November 6th
