Hello My Name Is Records will release the score/soundtrack to the amazingly touching documentary film The Way We Get By airing Nationally November 11th on PBS.
The Way We Get By is a story about troop greeters — a group of senior citizens who gather daily at a small airport to thank American soldiers departing and returning from Iraq, but the film quickly turns into a moving, unsettling and compassionate story about aging, loneliness, war and mortality.
Coming off a successful opening at the IFC Center in New York City, The Way We Get By has expanded theatrically across the country in cities such as Chicago, LA, DC, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin and many others.
The score/soundtrack is a modern themed acoustic-based musical masterpiece composed by Zack Martin of Carrigan, with film-audio tastefully woven throughout. The feature track, titled "The Trapper," accentuates the heart-felt story behind the individuals of this film and can be heard here ------> The Trapper An instrumental track from the film titled "Home," fuses the acoustic score with heartfelt moments from the film and can be heard here ------> Home
