 Have Christmas dinner with The Blackeyed Susans this year at the majestic Thornbury Theatre on Friday 18th December.
A stellar line-up of special guests for the evening includes Luluc, Alexander & Thomas (from Oh Mercy), The Ukeladies and special guest MC Judith Lucy.
The band promise Christmas songs - sad ones of course, maybe a carol or two and Christmas pudding! Come drink a toast with The Blackeyed Susans in celebration of their twentieth anniversary together and the recent release of their retrospective box set Reveal Yourself 1989 – 2009. Table bookings for a Christmassy-themed dinner and show encouraged.
About Reveal Yourself 1989 – 2009 This beautifully packaged 4-disc deluxe box set includes an informative 34-page booklet, featuring band photos and liner notes by Michael Dwyer and the Susans’ Phil Kakulas. Volumes 1 & 2 include 36 Blackeyed Susans favourites; from their early EPs, through to the landmark album releases in the ’90s and tracks from their lastrelease Shangri-La. Volume 3 is a disc of b-sides, rarities and alternate versions, including 8 previously unreleased tracks. Volume 4 is a DVD containing all of the band’s 10 music videos. Reveal Yourself 1989 – 2009 is out now through Liberation Music and available now from all good music retailers.
