The Growlers kick off their fall tour at the Cellar Door in Visalia, CA with a special one-off gig supporting Vampire Weekend. (FULL LIST OF TOUR DATES BELOW)
The Costa Mesa, CA sextet are touring behind the release of their Everloving debut LP Are You In or Out?, which is currently receiving spins from L.A.'s KCRW and London's XFM. The Aquarium Drunkard blog called the album "a welcome dose of something different," and Devendra Banhart spends the first :45 of talking about how "motherf*in bitchin" the Growlers are.
The Growlers will play two Los Angeles shows with The Strokes' Julian Casablancas before heading up the coast for December dates with Mt Saint Helens Vietnam Band (Secretly Canadian) that will include stops at Portland's Doug Fir Lounge and the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco.
The band spent October supporting BLK JKS, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes and Kurt Vile along the West Coast. A full U.S. tour will follow in early 2010.
