Above & Beyond, recently ranked 4th in DJ Mag's list of the world's top DJs, have announced New Year's Eve gigs in both LA and San Francisco.
First up is a headlining appearance at Giant Village's annual event at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites hotel in downtown LA. The line up also features Cosmic Gate, Crystal Method and Kristina Sky, with more acts TBC.
After ringing in the New Year in Los Angeles, Above & Beyond will fly up to San Francisco to perform the closing set at an Anjunabeats-themed party at 1015, where they will be supported by labelmates Super8 & Tab, as well as local favorite, Taj.
On October 7, the group that has remixed Madonna, won Radio 1's Essential Mix of the Year, played to one million people in Rio de Janeiro, and were recently voted Best Group at the International Dance Music Awards (ahead of the likes of Daft Punk, Soulwax, Justice, and Pendulum) released Anjunabeats Volume 7 on Ultra Records. Anjunabeats Volume 7 has 28 tracks showcasing the best music from Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats imprint, including production from Above & Beyond, longstanding Anjunabeats producers Oliver Smith, Super8 & Tab and Jaytech, as well as new artists Cold Blue and 19 year old Mat Z.
The release also includes a bonus DVD featuring the film A Dog With A Smile, an off-the-wall look at life on tour with Above & Beyond.
